About Greater Kansas City Genealogy Society

Greater Kansas City Genealogy Society is an organization of amateur and professional family historians and genealogists dedicated to the collegial study and preservation of family history. Initially organized as Northland Genealogy Society in 1997, we expanded our outreach in 2025, as many of our members have interest in research throughout the United States and the rest of the world.

Located on the corner of East 23rd Ave. and Howell Street(across from North Kansas City High School). Free parking is available on the south side of the library.
